Happy (Reading) #2015

With the dawn of 2014, the year when Flip-a-leaf was born, I couldn't help getting nostalgic and looking back at how this year, this journey has been for me so far. Let me tell you that it has been quite an experience reviewing books and writing about them , and along the road we met people who showered us with love in the form of positive feedback and honest criticism, while some just let it pass by. We haven't ignored the criticism nor the compliments, both have helped and will help evolve this book review blog further.

One fine day I received a message on my phone , it was from one of my closest pals, it said- 'Just the knowledge that a good book is awaiting one at the end of a long day makes that day happier'-  Kathleen Norris', and my reaction was an overwhelmed yet calm smile, it was that of satisfaction, knowing that the message came from a friend who was earlier lazy to pick up a book, and now is a frantic reader, though genre specific. She is a regular visitor and follower of the blog. Of course, Flip-a-leaf and I will not take the credit fully, as it is her choice and newly generated interest that makes her read- be it to kill time, to divert the mind or simply to be just by herself in peace. But with that anecdote, I just wanted to relate the happiness such incidents give, and that we are here for all sort of readers who share an appetite for reading.

So with the start of this new year #2015, I take a chance to thank the followers and the readers for keeping Flip-a-leaf going. And hence, my new year resolution would be to read more and more!

Thanks a ton and wishing all of you a very happy new year. We shall be back with more book reviews and bookish posts soon, and with a bang!
